Benedykt Kocot

Benedykt Kocot ( born April 11, 1954 in Chrzastowice ) is a former Polish track cyclist and two -time world champion.

Benedykt Kocot was in the 1970s a specialist for short-term events on the track. Three times he was Polish champion in the sprint. Twice - in 1975 and 1976 - he became world champion in tandem race, together with Janusz Kotlinski.

Three times Kocot launched at the Olympic Games. 1972 Munich in the sprint and in tandem race, where he won with Andrzej Bek bronze, 1976 and 1980 in the sprint, but without placing yourself forward.
