Bernard Moras

Bernard Blasius Moras ( born August 10, 1941 in Kuppepadavu ) is Archbishop of Bangalore in the Indian state of Karnataka.

Life

Bernard Blasius Moras received on 6 December 1967, the ordination. Pope John Paul II appointed him on 30 November 1996 the Bishop of Belgaum.

The Archbishop Emeritus of Bombay, Simon Ignatius Pimenta Cardinal, donated to him on 25 February of the next year, the episcopal ordination; Were co-consecrators Ignatius P. Lobo, Bishop Emeritus of Belgaum, and Aloysius Paul D' Souza, Bishop of Mangalore.

On July 22, 2004, he was appointed Archbishop of Bangalore and introduced into the office on 17 September of the same year.
