Berrigan Shire

Berrigan is located on the southern border of the State of Victoria on the Murray River about 470 km west of the Australian capital Canberra and 310 km north of Melbourne. The area includes 19 districts and towns: Barooga, Boomanoomana, Geraki, Green Swamp Road, Lalalty, Langunya, Leniston, Monaro Vale, Mount Gwynne, The Drop, The Retreat, Tocumwal, Tocumwal Raaf station and parts of Berrigan, Finley, Jerilderie, Mulwala, Pine Lodge and Savernake. The seat of the Shire Council is located in the town of Berrigan in the northeast of the LGA, where about 1300 inhabitants.

Management
