Beverly D'Angelo

Beverly D' Angelo ( * November 15, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio ) is an American actress and singer.

Life

D' Angelo comes from a family manager; her father ran the television station WBNS - TV in Columbus. She studied art in Italy and worked for Hanna-Barbera as a draftsman. She was also a member of the musical group Elephant and entered among others in Canada. It is particularly known from the movie Hair and out of the National Lampoon movies in which she starred alongside Chevy Chase Ellen Griswold. For her role in the musical film Coal Miner's Daughter (1980 ) in which she sang numerous songs, D' Angelo was nominated for the Golden Globe Film Award in the Best Supporting Actress category. In 1992 she made ​​a guest appearance in the third season of the animated series The Simpsons and borrowed 16 years later, in the 19th Season again a figure her voice.

D' Angelo was married from 1981 to 1995 with Lorenzo Salviati. From 1985 to 1991 she lived, still married to the film director Neil Jordan together. With Al Pacino, she was romantically involved from 1996 to 2002. With this she has two children (twins Olivia and Anton, born 25 January 2001), to whose custody she argues with him since the separation.
