The Samtgemeinde Beverstedt was a local government association in the district of Cuxhaven. It was converted to 1 November 2011 in the united community Beverstedt.

Topography

The northern and eastern part of the velvet municipality lies with the municipalities Beverstedt, Frelsdorf, Appeln, Kirchwistedt and stumps in the Weser river mouths Geest, in the eastern part of the municipality Kirchwistedt heights just over 30 m above sea level. The full-time mayor was ex officio member of the Council Samtgemeinde. Thus, comprised of 31 members. Last Samtgemeinde mayor was Ulf Voigt (independent).
