Beylerbeyi SK
Beylerbeyi SK is a Turkish football club from the Beylerbeyi neighborhood of Istanbul. Their home games wearing the Red-Greens in Beylerbeyi from 75th Yıl stage. The club used the acronym BBS. In addition to the well-known football department of the club has other departments sports such as basketball, rowing and swimming.
History
The club was founded in 1904 and took off in 1911 with the two sports football and rowing in the competition events. Only later were added sports such as basketball, judo and swimming. The football team played since its inception in the lower amateur leagues Istanbul. It may have only played a few seasons with the big Istanbul clubs Galatasaray, Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe in a league.
Since 1963, Beylerbeyi SK participated as a founding member of the newly created, and second-highest nationwide discharged Turkish professional league today TFF 1 Lig part. In 1969 got off from this league, but managed to twice the rise. Reinforced by the establishment of numerous Anatolian teams that increasingly strengthened regionally, the club lost its importance. Beginning of the 1970s club adopted for about ten years entirely by professional football, and got completely into oblivion. In 1981 the club found the connection again and made it to the TFF 1 Lig But in 1998, they played the last time in this league.
Since 2009, the club plays in the fourth highest Turkish league, now the third TFF Lig
