Biały Zdrój, Świdwin County

Bialy Zdrój ( German Balsdrey ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. It belongs to the municipality Slawoborze ( Stolzenberg ) in the powiat Świdwiński ( Schivelbein ).

Geographical location

Bialy Zdrój is located eight kilometers north of Świdwin, one kilometer east of the province road 162 from Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg ) to Drawsko Pomorskie ( Pomerania ). On the tranquil Jezioro Bystrzyna Małe (small Beust Riner lake ) located, the place is bordered to the north by the 177 meter high Klorowka ( Klorberg ). The nearest train station is Świdwin.

History

The first written mention is Balsdrey in 1498, when the bailiff Berendt Rhor on behalf of Johann Cicero, Margrave of Brandenburg, Drewes Zibell gives the mayor's office to Balsdrey. 1540 came the village to the Order of St. John, and a fief Schulze, four farmers and a number of desert farms were counted in 1736 in Balsdrey. In 1803 there were six fireplaces and 51 inhabitants, and 1884 were in the community three Gutsbesitze, two farmers, a Büdner and two Altsitzer resident.

Three landowners, the place also in 1928, supplemented by a farm in the town associated Niederhofstraße ( Miedzno ).

1939 the place has 176 inhabitants in 43 households in a community area of ​​1208.5 hectares.
