Biernów

Biernów ( German Quisbernow ) is a village in Poland, to the rural community Rabino ( United Rambin ) is in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in powiat Świdwiński. 18 km south of Białogard ( Belgard ) and eight kilometers north of Połczyn -Zdrój ( Bad Polzin ) it is located on a hilly plateau at the creek Bukowa ( Buckow ).

Place

The little Pomeranian village Quisbernow with its southern Vorwerk Birkhof belonged until 1945 to the Belgard. Documented, it is mentioned in 1493 for the first time and at first called by the name Quißbenow, later also Quispenau. In the year 1867 154 inhabitants are counted in 10 houses for Quisbernow and Birkhof. 1939 lived 231 people in 55 households in the rural structure community. For Gutsbetrieb included a distillery.
