Bill Kitchen (ice hockey)

Bill Kitchen ( born October 12, 1960 in Schomberg, Ontario, † 30 July 2012 in Ottawa, Canada ) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player who in his playing days from 1976 to 1986 among others for the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League has played. His brother Mike was also a professional hockey player.

Career

Bill Kitchen began his career as a hockey player in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey Association, in which he was active until 1980, 67 's in 1976 for the Windsor Spitfires and Ottawa. During this period, the defender received on 23 October 1979 as a free agent contract with the Montreal Canadiens. For the Canadians he was in the 1981/82 season his debut in the National Hockey League.
