Billy Steinberg

Billy Steinberg ( born February 26, 1950) is an American musician and songwriter, who is best known for his compositions together with Tom Kelly and Rick Nowels.

Career

Billy Steinberg began his musical career as a singer in a cover band. He began writing his own songs and formed his own band, which also got a record deal. Even he did not succeed, however, the cover version of his song How Do I Make You by Linda Ronstadt in 1980 became a number 10 hit in the United States. Pat Benatar also coverte his songs and when he met the musician and songwriter Tom Kelly, the two decided to form a songwriting team.
