Birtha (Titular See)

Birtha ( Italian: Birta ) is a titular of the Roman Catholic Church.

It goes back to a bygone bishopric in with the old town (now Birecik ) in the Roman province of Mesopotamia or in Late Antiquity Osrhoene in Turkey. The bishop's seat was allocated to the ecclesiastical province of Edessa.
