Blaženko Lacković ( born December 25, 1980 in Novi Marof in Varaždin ) is a Croatian handball player.

Career

Lacković plays on the left back position. His career began with RK Novi Marof, where he played from 1994 to 1997. He then moved to RK Varteks Di Caprio. He remained there until 2001 and played three years thereafter for RK Zagreb. Then he signed a contract with the SG Flensburg- Handewitt, with whom he reached the final of the EHF Champions League 2007. Since the 2008/2009 season Lacković plays for HSV Hamburg, with whom he became German champion in 2011 and 2013 Champions League winner.

In the Croatian national team, he is one of the major players who derives his enormous jumping and throwing power, especially from the back, many goals. Previously, he played 195 times for Croatia, scoring 571 goals (as of July 11, 2013 ).
