Boavista dos Pinheiros is a place and a municipality Freguesia in the Alentejo in Portugal in the circle of Odemira, with an area of 37.9 km ² and 1637 inhabitants (as at 30 June 2011). This corresponds to a population density of 43.2 inh. / Km ². The municipality of Boavista dos Pinheiros was only founded on 12 June 2001 and was from the neighboring communities of Santa Maria ( Odemira ) and São Salvador ( Odemira ). All three municipalities are located on the banks of the River Mira.
