Geography
Geographical Location
The integrated municipality lies approximately between Hameln and Einbeck (or wood Minden ) right in the Weser mountain country on the Upper Weser and has an area of 114.27 km ².
Samtgemeinde outline
The integrated municipality comprises the member municipalities Hall, Hehlen, Heyen, Kirchbrak and Pegestorf and the city Bodenwerder, which is also the seat of the velvet municipality.
On 23 March 2009 the Municipality Councils of Samtgemeinde Bodenwerder and Samtgemeinde Polle in Buchhagen agreed a merger to create new Samtgemeinde ground Werder Polle on January 1, 2010.
