Borås Arena

IF Elfsborg Norrby IF

The Borås Arena is one of the most modern stadiums in Sweden and is located in the city of Borås. It is in the arena primarily a pure football stadium with 17,800 seats. It is the home stadium of the Swedish first division side IF Elfsborg.

The stadium was built in 2005 and inaugurated. The first official league game in the new arena took place between IF Elfsborg and Örgryte IS on 17 April 2005. In order to show good year-round playing conditions, was laid on the 105 x 68 m large play area artificial turf.

Besides the use as a football stadium, the Arena can also be used for the organization of concerts and other events.
