Rambergsvallen

The Rambergsvallen is a football stadium with track and field facility on the island belonging to the municipality of Gothenburg Rambergsvallen.

History

The stadium was opened in 1935 and offers both Längstribühnen of 7000, of which 3,000 are covered seats. The small arena serves as the home stadium of the Swedish Fußballerstligisten BK Hacken and the fourth division ( Division 2: Västra Gotland ) Lundby IF ( announced in June 2006, however, bankruptcy ). As an athletics stadium, it is particularly used by the IF Kville.

The attendance record with 8,379 spectators holding the BK Hacken in his game on 10 April 2000 in the local derby against IFK Göteborg.

The stadium is a Rambergsvallen as well as the 1958 built of several sports facilities, ice rink Rambergsrinken, the sports and health center Rambergsvallen.

In April 2010, the municipality of Gothenburg has decided the reconstruction of the stadium. From the current venue a pure football arena with 7,000 covered seats and artificial turf playing field to be 2014, which also meets the requirements of FIFA. The budget for the construction project has been set at 130 million Swedish crowns. During the reconstruction, the dodge in the Ullevi or the Valhalla idrottsplats.
