Borinka
Borinka ( until 1948 slovak " Pajštún " until 1927 " Kvetov "; German Ballstein, Hungarian Pozsonyborostyánkő - to 1895 Borostyánkő ) is a village in western Slovakia with about 540 inhabitants ( 2006).
Location and General Description
The place was formerly called Slovak Stupavský Podzámok, situated in the Little Carpathians in the landscape Zahorie, in the valley of the brook brook Stupavský, about 5 km east of Stupava and about 20 km from the capital Bratislava. Some Bratislava have here or around their dacha ( Slow chata ).
The village was first mentioned in 1314 as Pelystan. To the municipality include not only the main town also Vackova.
