Boronia (Victoria)

Boronia is a district in the east of Melbourne. It is 29 km from the city center. At the 2006 census, it had 20,447 inhabitants.

History

Boronia was initially part of the adjacent Bayswater. In 1915 the area of AE Chandler, a member of the Council, after the coral diamonds ( Boronia ) that grew on his property, named.
