Botond Flinta

Botond Flinta ( born October 4, 1987 in Miercurea Ciuc ) is a Romanian- Hungarian ice hockey player who is under contract with the HSC Csíkszereda in the MOL League since 2010.

Career

Botond Flinta began his career as a hockey player at Miercurea Ciuc HC, for the first team, he was active in the Romanian Hockey League from 2003 to 2005. He then spent two years playing for the SC Miercurea Ciuc city rivals, with whom he first won the Romanian Cup competition and in 2007, the league and cup double in 2006.

With the HC Miercurea Ciuc he took from 2007 to 2009 in parallel with the game operating in Romania, first at the Hungarian Hockey League and then in the 2008 / 09 season, participated in the transnational MOL League, whose champion title he won with his team in the premiere season of the MOL League. When the team had to be subsequently dissolved for financial reasons, signed the Romanian international a contract for the 2009/10 season in Alba Volán Székesfehérvár Hungary, for in 13 games he was in the Austrian Hockey League on the ice. In parallel, he ran as Players out on loan for the Ferencvárosi TC in the League MOL and the Hungarian league.

In the season 2010/11 Flinta won with the HSC Csíkszereda the MOL League.

Internationally

For Romania Flinta took at junior level at the U18 Junior World Championship Division I in 2004 and the U20 World Junior Championships Division II in 2005, the 2006 and 2007.

In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the World Championships Division II in 2006 and 2008 and the World Championship Division I in 2007 and the World Championships of 2012 IB Division.
