2010–11 MOL Liga season

The season 2010/11 was the third regular host the MOL League, the highest common Hockey League Romania and Hungary. Defending Budapest were the stars, but were eliminated in the semi-finals this season. New champion of HSC Csíkszereda.

Participant

For the third season of the League farm team of the EBEL clubs Alba Volán Székesfehérvár returned to the MOL League. The League launched on September 7, 2010. Moreover, the CSA Steaua Bucharest returned after a year as the third Romanian team back to the league. The rest of the field remained unchanged compared to the previous year.

Playoffs

Prior to the playoffs, the two clubs the last playoff participants played on the eighth and ninth out in a short best of three series. This was followed by quarterfinals, semifinals and finals in each mode Best of five.

The third quarter-final match between SC Miercurea Ciuc future champion and Újpesti TE was canceled after thirteen minutes and eleven seconds with the score at 8-0.
