2009–10 MOL Liga season
The 2009 /10 of the MOL League was the second regular hosting of the highest common Hockey League Romania and Hungary. Master of the League were the first time the Budapest Stars while Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák was the best team in the main round.
Participants and mode
Each team played against each opponent four times, bringing the total number of matches per team was in the main round 24. The first four teams qualified for the playoffs, which were held at the Best -of -Five mode.
At the second season of the league participate only eight teams. The winner of the first season (HC Csíkszereda ) broke up for financial reasons. Also for financial reasons waive the CSA Steaua Bucharest and the CS Progym Gheorgheni to participate in the MOL League. New in the league was the SCM 68 Fenestela Braşov. The HC Lučenec from southern Slovakia originally wanted to participate in the competition, but there was no release from the Slovak Ice Hockey Federation. Alba Volán Székesfehérvár, whose first team participates in the Austrian EBEL, waived for this season on a farm team in the MOL Liga.
