2008–09 MOL Liga season

The 2008 / 09 of the MOL League was the first regular hosting of the highest common Hockey League Romania and Hungary. First champion of the League was the HC Miercurea Ciuc, who was also the best team in the main round.

Participants and mode

Each team played against each opponent four times, bringing the total number of matches per team was in the main round 36. The first four teams qualified for the playoffs, in which the semi-final was held in the mode best-of -three, the final in the Best-of -Five mode.
