Boutros Mouallem

Pierre Muallem SMSP, also Boutros Muallem ( born May 10, 1928 in Eilaboun, Israel) is Archbishop Emeritus of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church for the Melkite Christians living in Israel, with the bishop's seat in Haifa. His birthplace Eilaboun ( عيلبون Ailabun, Hebrew: עַילַבּוּן, עֵילַבּוּן ) is an inhabited by Israeli Arabs Local Association in Israel 's North District. The approximately 4,800 inhabitants are predominantly Christian Palestinians.

Bishop in Brazil

Pierre Muallem was consecrated on November 21, 1955 Chaplain of the Missionary Society of St. Paul. The appointment for the third bishop of the Melkites in Brazil took place on 20 April 1990.
