Brody Dalle

Brody Dalle ( born January 1, 1979 in Melbourne, actually Bree Joanna Alice Robinson) is an Australian singer and guitarist.

Biography

Brody Dalle founded the age of 13 her first band Sourpuss and played with her, at the age of 16 years, on the side of the Beastie Boys and Sonic Youth at Australia's Somersault Festival. There she met Tim Armstrong, frontman of Rancid, know. Dalle followed him to the U.S. and married him in 1997. A year later she formed the band The Distillers. After divorcing in 2003 Armstrong Brody Dalle is in a relationship with the Queens -of-the -Stone - Age frontman Josh Homme and now also married. On January 17, 2006, they brought their daughter Camille Harley Homme to the world. On January 26, 2011 Dalle announced on her Twitter account that she is expecting her second child. On the Queens -of-the -Stone - Age Lullabies to Paralyze Albums (2005) and Era Vulgaris (2007), was on display as a guest vocalist, as well at the 2002 debut album by the Transplants. For the Eagles of Death Metal and Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards, she was involved in the artwork of albums. They also participated as a guitarist during the recording of Courtney Love's album America's Sweetheart. Since The Distillers early February 2007 officially disbanded, she is the front woman of the newly formed band Spinnerette at the Tony Bradley of The Distillers plays. In addition, should appear a solo album.
