Broxtowe

Broxtowe is a local government district with the status of a borough in the county of Nottinghamshire in England. Administrative center is the city of Beeston; significant sights are Awsworth, Eastwood, Kimberley, Nuthall, Stapleford and Toton. It is twinned with Gütersloh in Germany.

The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the Urban District Beeston and Stapleford and Eastwood and part of Basford Rural District.
