Bruce Man Son Hing

Bruce Man Son Hing ( born April 13, 1964 in Grenada, Lesser Antilles ) is a former American professional tennis player.

Life

Man Son Hing grew up on the island nation of Grenada. When he was nine years old, his family moved first to Los Angeles and soon to Glendale. At this time he also took up the game of tennis. He studied between 1982 and 1986 Social Sciences at UC Irvine, where he led the internal ranking of tennis players in the last years of study. Between 1988 and 1989 he played as a professional tennis player on the ATP World Tour. His greatest successes came here in a double with his partner John Letts. Together they won 189 ATP Challenger tournament in Nagoya and reached the final of the ATP tournament in Seoul and Auckland. His best individual result was the participation in the semi-finals of the Challenger tournament in San Luis Potosí, where he lost in three sets Jorge Lozano. The highest quotation in the tennis world ranking he reached in 1988 with position 305 in single and in 1989 with position 132 in doubles.
