Bruno Corbucci

Bruno Corbucci (born 23 October 1931 in Rome, † September 7, 1996 in Rome ) was an Italian film director and screenwriter.

Life

Corbucci was the younger brother of Sergio Corbucci. First, he was from the mid- 1950s active as a screenwriter, particularly often - as in his entire career - for comedy, first with Totò, later with Franco & Ciccio. His first film as a director was the James Bond Parody James Tont operazione UN. One of his rare serious films is purely the spaghetti westerns in the dust of the sun ( Spara, Gringo, spara ) ( 1968).

His writing often in collaboration with Mario Amendola; in his own films about 50 sting the police film series to Nico Giraldi ( in German Tony chestnuts ), the represented by Tomas Milian " super cops " show, as well as some late comedies of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill.

In some films he used the pseudonyms Frank B. Corlish and Dean Whitcomb.
