Bukovka

Bukovka ( German Bukówka ) is a municipality in Okres Pardubice. It has 408 inhabitants and their living from agriculture and the economy of the surrounding towns, especially Pardubice. 235 residents are of working age. The median age is 37.3 years. The municipality and the district Habřinka heard ( Hag ).

Evangelical Church

After the emperor of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation ( HRR ) and 1780 King of Hungary and Bohemia Joseph II, the practice of religion allowed by the tolerance patent on October 13, 1781 1784 was a Protestant Betshalle still without a tower and wooden at its present location of the meetinghouse built. The present Protestant and only church of the village was built in 1861 at the instigation of the priest and historian Josef Dobiáš. 1995 and the following year the church was reconstructed with financial support from the city of Basel and the community members.
