Buléon

Buléon ( Breton: Buelion ) is a commune with 492 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Morbihan in the Brittany region. It belongs to the Local Government Association, Saint -Jean- Brévelay Communauté.

Geography

Buléon located in the southern part of Brittany in the center of the department of Morbihan and belongs to the Pays de Pontivy.

Neighboring municipalities are Lantillac in the north, Guégon in the east, in the southeast and south Guéhenno, Bignan the southwest, Saint- Allouestre in the west and Radenac in the northwest.

Through the village run the D165 as a link from Radenac after Plumelec and the D155 from Saint -Jean- Brévelay after Ménéac. Important for inter-regional traffic is the N24 from Lorient to Rennes. This runs through the community. Buléon has its own connection.

The two streams Sainte -Anne and Ruisseau de la Ville, the main waters of the municipality.

Demographics

History

The municipality belongs to the historic region of Brittany Bro - Gwened (French Vannetais ) and within this region to region Reter Bro Gwened (French Vannetais oriental ) and shares his story. From 1801 until its dissolution on 10 September 1926, she was part of the arrondissement Ploërmel. From 1793 until its dissolution in 1801 belonged to the canton Buléon Bignan. Since then, the church is assigned to the District of Saint -Jean- Brévelay.
