Burhan Eşer (born 1 January 1985 in Lice ) is a Turkish football player.

Career

Association

Eşer began his career in 2004 at Diyarbakirspor. He completed his first half- season in a match and moved to Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor. There he impressed despite low inserts the functionaries of Diyarbakirspor and he came back to Diyarbakirspor. In the season 2005/ 06 Burhan Eşer rose with the team from the 2nd league. He played one more season and joined the 2007/08 season in the capital Ankara to Gençlerbirliği. In the same season he reached with Gençlerbirliği the Turkish Cup final, which was lost on penalties to 10:11.

For the 2010/11 season Eşer changed in Eskisehirspor. Here he established himself immediately as a service provider and has long been an important part of the team. After Ersun Yanal took over as coach at Eskisehirspor for the second half of the season 2011/12 Eşer lost his place but still played regularly.

For the second half of the season 2012/13 Eşer moved to league rivals Mersin İdman Yurdu. After Mersin IY end of the season missed the league, Eşer left this club and moved within the league to Sivasspor.

National

Eşer went through the Turkish U-20 national team and the Turkish U-21 national team. In addition, he completed in 2008 a game for the second selection of the Turkish national team.
