Cachoeira Alta

Cachoeira Alta is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Goiás in the mesoregion southern Goiás and in the micro-region Quirinópolis. It is located southwest of the Brazilian capital Brasília and the state capital of Goiânia. Cachoeira Alta is located in the extreme southwest of Goiás on a plateau 483 meters above sea level. NN with a flat topography.

The municipality includes the town of São Sebastião.

Cachoeira Alta lies on the diagonal federal highway BR -364, which connects São Paulo across the states of Minas Gerais, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Rondônia with Acre.
