Calvatone
Calvatone is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1272 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Cremona in Lombardy. The community is located about 32.5 miles from Cremona from the Oglio and the Parco Sud dell'Oglio and directly borders the province of Mantua.
History
Near the ancient Bedriacum found 69 AD two battles instead. After the death of Nero Otho and Vitellius tried to enforce its claim to power with each other. The first battle in April ended with a victory Vitellius. Then in October there was another battle. Now Vespasian entered the conflict with Vitellius. Under Marcus Antonius Primus the Flavian troops were victorious. So Vespasian's claim to the principality was assured.
