Capitale-Nationale
Capitale-Nationale is an administrative region (French région administrative ) in the southeast of the Canadian province of Quebec.
It is further in six regional county municipalities ( municipalites Clarisse de comté ) and 69 municipalities, Reserves, and unincorporated areas divided. Seat of administration is the provincial capital of Quebec.
The population is 701 204 (2011), the land area of 18,638.7 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 37.6 inhabitants per km ². 99.1 % of residents speak French and 0.5 % English as the main language.
In the north, Capitale-Nationale adjacent to the administrative region of Saguenay -Lac -Saint- Jean, in the northeast on Côte- Nord, on the east by Bas -Saint- Laurent, in the south of Chaudière - Appalaches, in the southwest on Centre-du -Québec, in west Mauricie.
