Capriasca

Capriasca is a municipality in the district of Capriasca, in the district of Lugano in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland.

The municipality was created in 2001 from the merger of Cagiallo, Lopagno, Roveredo Capriasca, Sala Capriasca, Tesserete and Vaglio. As early as 1976 Campestro was merged with Tesserete.

On April 20, 2008 Bidogno, Corticiasca, Lugaggia merged to form the new municipality Capriasca.
