Catalyst (nonprofit organization)
Catalyst Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of women in the workplace.
History
It was founded in 1962 by feminist writer and lawyer Felice Schwartz ( 1925-1996 ). Catalyst has offices in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and also in Germany and can be more than 400 prestigious companies among its members. Catalyst is considered as a trusted source of information for research and consultancy on women's issues in the workplace. With the awarded annually Catalyst Awards exemplary business initiatives to promote women are honored in working life.
Catalyst Award
The Catalyst Award annually for corporate initiatives that bring measurable results for the recruitment and professional development of women. The initiative must provide data on at least one year are available, which are evaluated by Catalyst. The prize is awarded but only after a thorough on-site investigation.
