Cees Paauwe 2008

Cees Paauwe ( born November 3, 1977 in Dronten ) is a Dutch football player. Since the summer of 2010, the goalkeeper is the Dutch first division club Excelsior Rotterdam under contract.

Career

Already between 1995 and 2000 played Paauwe at FC Twente. In the first year in the pros, he made his debut in the Eredivisie. On his next league use he had to wait until 1998 /99. In the meantime Paauwe was constantly in the shadow of Sander Boschker, the full number one at FC Twente.

In the summer of 2000, he finally moved to the Eerste Divisie for SC Cambuur - Leeuwarden. There should be carried out after the descent of the resurgence of what was missed twice.

In 2002, the keeper went back to Enschede and was back a year later, after Boschker was transferred to Ajax Amsterdam, goalkeeper. He played 21 league games. Until then and even after Paauwe never came to more than five bets per Eredivisie season. After Boschkers return to the 2003/04 season Paauwe moved back to the second position.

During the winter break, therefore, the same season he moved to league rival ADO Den Haag. After one and a half years, but he moved back to Enschede. Once there sbolvierte a single League game and acted most of the time as a third-choice goalkeeper behind Nikolai Mikhailov and Sander Boschker.

In summer 2010, he joined the newly promoted Excelsior Rotterdam, where he holds a position in the goal since the season starts.
