The gas turbine ship Celebrity Constellation is a 5-star luxury cruise ship, operated by Celebrity Cruises and mid-May, was put into service in 2002. Was built the ship from the shipyard Chantiers de l' Atlantique in Saint- Nazaire (France). The construction costs amounted to 350 million U.S. dollars. The Celebrity Constellation was built as the last of four ships of the Millennium class. Sister ships are the Celebrity Millennium ( 2000), Celebrity Infinity ( 2001) and the Celebrity Summit ( 2001).

The cruise ship has eleven decks, ten passenger decks ( Continental Deck, Plaza Deck, Promenade Deck, Entertainment Deck, Penthouse Deck, Vista Deck, Panorama Deck, Sky Deck, Resort Deck, Sunrise Deck ). Passengers can use 970 indoor and outdoor booths and suites available. The board language is English, the currency on board U.S. dollars. The ship has been renovated and provided with all the facilities of the Solstice class in April 2010. In April 2013, 60 new cabins were upgraded which are on the sister ships already exists.

Since the delivery of the ship is traveling in the summer, the Baltic Sea and in winter the Caribbean. 2002 and 2003, the Mediterranean and Western Europe was traveled in the fall. There, the ship was also used again in the fall of 2010. From 2002 to 2006, trips to the fjords of Norway took place in the summer, since June 2010, crosses the ship back there as well, partly to Spitsbergen. From 2002 to 2009, the ship sailed Canada and New England in the fall. 2009 and 2010 also found traveling instead through the Panama Canal. 2013, the Black Sea is traversed for the first time.
