The Celebrity Infinity (Eng. infinity ) is a Panamax cruise ship owned by Celebrity Cruises. It was built as the second of four ships of the Millennium class at the French shipyard Chantiers de l' Atlantique in Saint- Nazaire and provided as infinity under the flag of Liberia in service on March 3, 2001. Her sister ships are the Celebrity Millennium ( 2000), Celebrity Summit (2001) and the Celebrity Constellation ( 2002).
History
The on 11 October 1999 Laid Yard No. S31 Kiel Infinity was the second cruise ship, which was equipped with energy-saving and environmentally friendly gas turbines and propeller gondolas. Like her sister ship, the Millennium Infinity had with this drive system from the outset considerable problems. So had three months after the delivery of two cruises to be canceled and in the ensuing period there were constant disturbances.
The cruise ship has eleven decks, ten passenger decks ( Continental Deck, Plaza Deck, Promenade Deck, Entertainment Deck, Penthouse Deck, Vista Deck, Panorama Deck, Sky Deck, Resort Deck, Sunrise Deck ). Passengers are 1035 indoor and outdoor cabins and suites available. There are two outdoor and one indoor pool and four hot tubs.

Area of application
From Seattle, the Infinity has been leading the commissioning in the summer season cruises in the waters around Alaska. In the winter season it is used in South America. When laying the base port in Fort Lauderdale the target area and in the return passage of the Panama Canal takes place.
The Celebrity Infinity was first time in 2013 in European waters go. The ship sailed from Harwich on cruises to the British Isles, and the fjords of Norway and Iceland. During the winter months they will continue to be underway in the Panama Canal and South America.
