Chairman of the Parliament of Albania

Albania declared itself independent from the Ottoman Empire in 1912. Eight years later, the first time representatives of the people gathered in Lushnja to a congress; therefore valid January 28, 1920 as a birthday of Parliament as an institution. During this time the Kuvendi i Shqipërisë had 38 presidents. Since the September 10, 2013 this is Ilir Meta ( LSI).
