Chakir Boujattaoui

Chakir Boujattaoui ( born January 16, 1983 in Nador ) is a Moroccan long-distance runner and obstacle.

At the World Cross Country Championships 2008 in Edinburgh he came to the 40th place.

The following year he finished eighth at the World Cross Country Championships in Amman. In the Mediterranean Games in Pescara, he won silver over 3000 m steeplechase, and at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin, he finished in eleventh place in the 5000m.

In 2010 he was at the World Cross Country Championships in Bydgoszcz twelfth in singles and fourth with the Moroccan team. However, his drug test was positive for the EPO derivative Mircera. He was banned for two years and the results have been deleted.
