Charbonnières-les-Bains

Charbonnières- les- Bains is a commune with 4782 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) north-west of Lyon in the Rhône department.

The suffix -les- Bains goes back to the Therme operating in Charbonnières that was set now. Together with the neighboring village of La Tour -de- Salvagny but the casino is still operating, which is responsible for the good economic situation of the community. Since 1978 is twinned with the Bavarian spa town of Bad Abbach.
