Cheikh Gueye

Cheikh Matar Guèye ( born December 30, 1986 in Thies ) is a Senegalese football player standing since 2011 with Dynamo Dresden under contract. He is Right and is preferably used as right-back.

Career

Clubs

Guèye learned to play football with his hometown club U.S. Rail. In summer 2003, he joined the ASC Diaraf and played there for two seasons in the Senegal Premier League. For the 2005/06 season Guèye was committed by the former French first division club FC Metz, where he initially but only belonged to the squad of reserve team. After the Lorraine were relegated in the same season in the Ligue 2, Guèye joined the 2006/07 season for the first team squad. He followed in his debut season 29 league games ( one goal) and culminated with the team its chances of promotion.
