Cheng Shao-chieh

Cheng Shao -chieh (Chinese郑 韶 婕/郑 韶 婕, Pinyin Zheng Shaojie, W.-G. Cheng Shao -chieh, born January 4, 1986 in Taipei, Republic of China) is a Taiwanese badminton player.

Career

Cheng Shao -chieh in 2004 won the Austrian International. In the same year she took in badminton at the 2004 Olympics for being incurred under the name Chinese Taipei team of the Republic of China from Taiwan in part. In the women's singles she defeated Ling Wan Ting from Hong Kong and Jun Jae- youn of South Korea in the first two rounds. In the quarterfinals, losing to Cheng Gong Ruina from China with 11:3, 11:3.

In the badminton tournament at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, she lost in the first round against the set at position 1 and world number one Xie Xingfang from China in 2 sets.
