Chester (TTC)

Chester is an underground subway station in Toronto. It lies on the Bloor- Danforth line of the Toronto Subway, at the corner of Danforth Avenue and Broadview Avenue. The station has side platforms, is used daily by an average of 6,980 passengers (2009 /10), making it one of the least frequented of the entire subway network.

In the vicinity is the Withrow Park. Chester is the only station of the entire underground network of Toronto, which has no connection to bus or tram lines, which is one reason for frequenting. The opening of the station took place on 26 February 1966 in conjunction with the section Keele - Woodbine.
