Chinese Taipei women's national volleyball team
The Taiwanese national volleyball team of women is a selection of the best Taiwanese players, representing the Chinese Taipei Volleyball Association in international tournaments and international matches. Because of the political conflict with the People's Republic of China, the team officially kicks in under the name Chinese Taipei.
History
World cup
The first participation in a World Volleyball Championship, Taiwanese women were 1990 eleventh.
Olympic games
Taiwan has never qualified for the Olympics.
Asia Cup
The Taiwanese women were 1983 fourth at her first volleyball Asian Cup. After the missed tournament 1987 she occupied this place from 1989 to 1997 four more times. Only in 1991 they were fifth. This result there were 1999 to 2005 four times in a row. 2007 gave it only the sixth rank.
World Cup
Taiwan has never played in the World Cup.
World Grand Prix
At the World Grand Prix reached Taiwan in 1994 and 2007 respectively twelfth place.
