Chris Hahn

Chris Hahn ( born July 28, 1985 in Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan ) is a German - Canadian professional ice hockey player who was most recently at the Berlin Polar Bears in the German Ice Hockey League contract.

Career

Hahn began his career in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, where he played from 2003 to 2005 at the Athol Murray College of Notre Dame Hounds. In his second season, the center was top scorer of his team and was voted Most Valuable striker in the starting lineup of the SJHL All- Star Game 2004/ 05. Then the son of a German -born father moved to the University of Maine into playing the National Collegiate Athletic Association, where he received his degree in " Business Administration".

For the 2009/10 season was tap, fitted with a German passport, a contract with the polar bear from Berlin of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. On 4 September 2009 he was at the 3:8 defeat at the Kassel Huskies his debut for Berlin. At the end of the season 2010/11, the contract was terminated.

  • 2007, 2008: Dale Lick Academic Achievement Award as the best scorer of the team
  • 2008 Nomination for the Hockey East Academic All -Star Team NCAA
  • 2011 German champion with the polar bear Berlin
