Cristian Fernando Noboa Tello ( born April 9, 1985 in Guayaquil ) is an Ecuadorian footballer. Since January 2012, he is in the Russian Premjer League at Dynamo Moscow under contract.

Club career

Although Noboa was born in Guayaquil, he began his career in the youth from CD El Nacional from Quito. At the age of 15 years, however, he moved home and he moved to the youth of his home club CS Emelec. In 2004, he was then taken into the professional squad and made his debut just in league play against El Nacional as a professional.

It was followed by three seasons with Emelec in which he could not win a title though, but even became one of the greatest midfield talents of his country. After the runner-up title in 2006 with Emelec, he then attended a contract offer from the Russian first division club Rubin Kazan. Previously, among other things, the Portuguese top clubs FC Porto and Sporting Lisbon had expressed interest in the player.

After a mixed first season in Russia, in which he had to contend with some adjustment problems in the new league, him in the 2008 season 's breakthrough. With Noboa as prolific impeller in midfield, Kazan celebrated their first league title in the club's history. National

In 2006 debuted Noboa in a number of unofficial internationals against Spanish regional selections, as the national team of Catalonia. As a result, he was ignored by the then national coach Luis Fernando Suárez, despite good performances in Russia.

As recently as 2009 he made his debut under coach Sixto Vizuete in an official match for Ecuador. As a result he developed during qualifying for the 2010 World Cup as one of the most important players of his team.
