Biography

After attending elementary school and he was still during the visit of the High School, 1919, the approval of the Management Service and was first secretary at the Commercial Office ( Bureau of Commerce ), before he was until 1924 head of the commercial department. At the same time he studied law at the National Law College and graduated in 1923 with a Bachelor of Laws ( LL.B. ) from. In the same year he was admitted to the bar.

In 1924 he finished his work in the commercial office and began his legal career as an assistant attorney in the law firm of Alejo Mabanag, the number of years was a senator for the then 2nd Senate election district, which included the La Union, Pangasinan and Zambales.

Ten years later he started in 1934 his own political career and was elected a member of the House of Representatives, representing the 4th electoral district of Pangasinan, first served until 1935. He then returned to the bar and at the same time 1936-1945 President of the Bar Association of Pangasinan.

In 1941 he was again a Member of the House of Representatives and represented by his re-election again in 1946 the 4th constituency Pangasinans until 1949. 1946 he was elected Vice - President of the Nacionalista Party, a position he held until 1964.

In November 1951 Cipriano Primicias was finally elected to the Senate and was this after his re-election until 1963.

One of his nine children, Cipriano "Tito" Primicias, Jr., was also a member of the House and Governor of Pangasinan. One of his granddaughters, Marlyn Legaspi Primicias - Agabas, was vice - governor of the province and was elected to the House of Representatives for the sixth congressional district in 2010. Their father Alejandro " Alex " Primicias was at times mayor of Tayug.
