City College of New York

The City College of New York (also known as City College of The City University of New York, City College, CCNY, or City ) is a state university in New York City in the U.S. state of New York. Founded in 1847, it is the oldest site of the City University of New York. In fall 2008, over 15,000 students were enrolled at City College, including over ten years slightly predominantly women; the proportion of Master's students was in the past years 20-30 percent.
