City of Auburn

Auburn is located about 16 km west of the center of Sydney at the southern end of the harbor. The area includes 12 Districts: Auburn, Auburn North, Auburn South, Auburn West, Berala, Homebush Bay, Lidcombe, Lidcombe North, Newington, Rookwood, Silverwater and a part of Regents Park. The administrative headquarters of the Council located in the district in the west of Auburn LGA.

Management

The council has twelve members of Auburn, who are elected by the residents of the two wards (six each Councillor from the First and the Second Ward ). These two districts are set independently of the districts. From the circle of Councillor also the Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council recruited.
